Russian CCI President Sergei Katyrin and the Director General of the Russian Export Center (REC), Petr Fradkov, signed a plan for cooperation between the two organizations whose purpose is to work out the possibilities for organizing presentations of the investment and export potential of the Far Eastern regions of the Russian Federation in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.
The structures of the RF CCI system, including those in the Asia-Pacific region, will be involved in the work, and the structures of the REC and, undoubtedly, the departments related to the development of the Far East, Sergey Katyrin is convinced.
"We must imagine the possibilities of this mega-region - they are extraordinarily huge, but little is known about them to our neighbors, said Sergey Katyrin. "We need to show potential partners from China, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore and other Far Eastern countries what is there, where to attach capital for the organization of new industries"
Sergey Katyrin mentioned, in particular, the idea to create a large exhibition complex in the Far East and organize a regular Far East air show. It is planned to create the Pacific Innovation Terminal of Russia, which will give a powerful impetus to the development of high-tech industries throughout the Far East.
This Klondike for the construction industry, the production of electrical products, machinery, aircraft, ships, equipment, furniture, convinced the head of the Federal Chamber.
The first presentations are planned for the coming year.
