In December 2017, the National Association of Event Tourism Specialists (NAST) held the Federal Information Days "Event Tourism in Russia", dedicated to the launch of the National Program for the Development of Event Tourism.
In the autumn of 2017, the results of the First National Rating for the Development of Event Tourism in Russia were summed up. Moscow region took the first position in the Rating on the results of 2016.
At the VI St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region took the first place in terms of the pace of tourism development in the country. The Moscow region was awarded the "For Innovative Development of the Region" award. In the suburbs, the "Event Calendar-2018" was published. The mobile application "Pulse of the Moscow Region" is launched.
Participants in the press conference will talk about the mechanisms for achieving leadership positions in the tourism sector, the main results of the year, the forthcoming events of 2018, new tourism projects, how the region prepares for the New Year and the meeting of fans of the World Cup, what competitive advantages there is a tourist suburbs.
