Russia is a traditional participant of the Havana Fair. The current Russian participation is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation jointly with Expocenter, with the assistance of the RF CCI. This year, stands of domestic companies, as well as Expocentre will be located on a total area of more than 600 square meters. According to him, the exhibition FIHAV 2017 confirms the dynamic development of Russian-Cuban trade and economic relations in all directions. Today, there are joint major socially significant projects. Among them - the construction of four power units, large shipments from Russia to Cuba of motor vehicles, railway locomotives. Cooperation is developing in the textile industry, agriculture, healthcare and other areas.
Emilio Lozada Garcia also noted the special importance of holding the Second Investment Forum within FIHAV 2017, where an updated package of 450 investment projects will be presented.
Maxim Fateev recalled the long-standing close economic ties between Russia and Cuba, which are developing both through the chambers of commerce and industry of both countries. The trade turnover in recent years has grown significantly and exceeds today a quarter of a billion US dollars. And FIHAV 2017 will undoubtedly contribute to further increase of trade between Russia and Cuba.
The exposition of this year will introduce the best examples of industrial products with the brand "made in Russia," said the vice president of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
