From October 5 to 9, the International Festival of Documentary and Popular Science Movies named after VG Rasputin "Man and Nature" was held in Irkutsk for the 16th time. The festival is growing year by year, and the range of problems that is being covered by authors participating in film screening is also expanding. Thanks to this, to the problems of ecology, Baikal succeeds in attracting more attention from both ordinary people and big business.
The main goal of the festival is to draw public attention to the problems of ecology, referring to it in the language of art - cinema - and to encourage the creators of the pictures, which by the methods of cinematography are struggling to preserve the natural resources of our planet. In Moscow, the festival sums up and presents the best pictures marked by the jury this year.
